“Right now, the world needs a hero.”
Mall security guard Ronnie Barnhardt is called into action to stop a flasher from turning shopper's paradise into his personal peep show. But when Barnhardt can't bring the culprit to justice, a surly police detective is recruited to close the case.
This film is a deeply uncomfortable, darkly comedic character study. It feels like watching a train wreck in slow motion, eliciting cringes and uneasy laughs. The mood is cynical and pathetic, exploring the delusions of a man desperate for validation and control in a bleak, mundane world.
