“Some sins cannot be forgotten”
After moving to the country to start life anew after their child's death, photographer Shawn Burnett and his wife, Helen, begin to suspect that a ramshackle cabin on their property is haunted by the malevolent spirit of a long-dead witch who once lived there.
A chillingly atmospheric descent into grief-fueled paranoia. The film masterfully crafts a sense of dread, where the isolation of the countryside amplifies the haunting presence. It's a slow, unsettling burn that lingers long after the credits roll.
