“The epic of the American doughboy!”

RomanceWarDrama

The story of an idle rich boy who joins the US Army's Rainbow Division and is sent to France to fight in World War I, becomes friends with two working class men, experiences the horrors of trench warfare, and finds love with a French girl.

VIBE

A sweeping, yet intimate, silent epic that balances patriotic fervor and the camaraderie of war with the profound heartbreak of loss. It's a grand, romantic vision of sacrifice and the human cost of conflict.
