“Sometimes you have to give up the life of your dreams to discover the dream of your life.”
ComedyDrama
Headstrong Mona Hubbard is fiercely driven to capture the coveted Miss American Miss beauty award, but an unusual circumstance teams her with a soccer-playing, deep-dimpled little girl named Vanessa.
VIBE
This film feels like a wild, campy ride through the absurdities of beauty pageants. Expect over-the-top performances and dramatic twists, all wrapped in a darkly comedic package. It's a fun, if slightly unhinged, exploration of ambition gone too far.
