“After school is when the real fun begins”
Miriam, Derek, Ian, and Jenny are overachieving high school students doing everything by the book. Straight A's, sports, yearbook, band, and - when coursework allows - planning and executing elaborate murders.
This film feels like a chillingly precise, yet deeply unsettling, examination of adolescent pressure. It's a slow burn that builds dread through its detached, almost clinical, portrayal of ambition gone awry.
