“When does a close friend become too close?”
A 27-year-old amateur playwright with the maturity level of an adolescent reconnects with a childhood friend, and then proceeds to follow him back to Los Angeles and stalk him.
This film feels like a deeply uncomfortable, yet strangely earnest, look at arrested development and obsessive longing. It's a cringe-comedy that lingers, exploring the awkwardness of adult friendships and unrequited affection with a raw, indie sensibility.
